This is Who We Are

Idaho Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (IAFCC) envisions a healthy Idaho. Your quality of life, and that of your neighbors, should never be limited just because a doctor visit or a prescription is beyond your budget.

We envision an Idaho where all of us can get preventative, comprehensive healthcare and treatment for disease. Who you are and what you do should not limit your health potential. Getting help should never be dependent on income, race, politics, finances, age, or other demographics.

Twelve independent member clinics comprise the IAFCC and serve the needs of 5,000 Idahoans. Idaho's network of free and charitable clinics help Idahoans that fall through the gaps of the healthcare system with compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services regardless of their ability to pay.

IAFCC supports critical safety net services in Idaho by bringing together healthcare leaders, professionals, community members, and stakeholders to partner in support of our mission. Together, we can ensure that all of Idaho's citizens have access to comprehensive, quality health care.

WHO WE HELP:

Hardworking individuals and families who lack healthcare services would otherwise go without care. We help people going through hard times. We've all been there. We understand that everyone needs help at some point in their lives.

WHAT WE DO:

Improve healthcare access in Idaho by supporting, strengthening, and advocating for a high-quality free and charitable clinic system.

HOW WE DO IT:
  • Advocacy & Public Education: IAFCC serves as the collective voice representing Idaho's network of free and charitable clinics by championing sector issues and concerns with local and state officials, state agencies, and regulatory boards, as well as fostering public awareness, engagement, and appreciation of the work and impact of free clinics.

  • Professional & Organizational Development: IAFCC promotes the continuous enhancement of clinic operations and their workforce by providing educational opportunities, resources, and technical assistance based on best practices in nonprofit management and supporting quality of patient care and clinic operations through the application of industry standards and best practices.

  • Strategic Partnerships & Resources: IAFCC works to enhance clinic capacity and sustainability through furthering alliances, collaborations, and resource development.
