Members of the Idaho Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (IAFCC) Board of Directors (BOD) help shape and support Idaho's free clinic sector. Many Idahoans cannot access the traditional healthcare system because of systemic barriers, including a lack of insurance and financial means. Serving as a member of IAFCC's BOD is an exciting opportunity to make a difference for the people of Idaho.

Our team seeks board members from within the free clinic sector, including free clinic leadership, staff members, interns, volunteers, and clinic board members.

We are also looking for board member candidates outside the free clinic sector to diversify our team's expertise and expand partnerships. We are looking for candidates with backgrounds in academia, advocacy, business, financial, healthcare, legal, marketing, philanthropy, social services, and more.

Additionally, we seek board members with professional, personal, or lived experiences relevant to the patient populations we serve.

Please fill out our online BOD Application or contact our leadership team at admin@idahoafcc.org. We will accept applications until October 31, 2022.

About IAFCC

IAFCC envisions a healthy Idaho. Your quality of life, and that of your neighbors, should never be limited because a doctor visit or a prescription is beyond your budget.

Twelve independent member clinics comprise IAFCC and serve the needs of 5,000 Idahoans. Our network of free and charitable clinics helps Idahoans that fall through the gaps of the healthcare system with compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services regardless of their ability to pay.

IAFCC supports critical safety net services in Idaho by bringing together healthcare leaders, professionals, community members, and stakeholders to partner in support of our mission. Together, we can ensure that all Idaho's citizens have access to comprehensive, quality health care.

"The service the men and women do selflessly at this clinic is truly remarkable! We're blessed to have folks that tirelessly give to the community like they do. I recommend visiting and giving what you can to help support the needs of others alongside them. They were there for me when I was in desperate need. Thank you!" — Billie Jo

"Cindy and Paul have literally saved my life. I suffer from a chronic condition that has maddening symptoms which are all over the place. They hung in there regardless of how crazy it gets and helped me to manage them when everyone else just wanted to give me pain pills or blow me off. I am very grateful for the existence of this clinic and feel it fills a tremendous need in our community." — Toni
